Find a CP or a CPO. We only list ABC certified practitioners. ABC has been the certifying agency for Prosthetics and Orthotics since 1948. To become an ABC certified practitioner, one must have a Baccalaureate degree, one year post degree each discipline courses, one year each discipline residency, written examination, written simulation examination, and a practical examination that covers a 3 day period. Besides the rigid examination, there is at least 6 years of education for a CP and 8 years for a CPO. That is why we only recognize ABC certified practitioners. A certified Prosthetist is a CP. A certified Prosthetist/Orthotist is a CPO. If the name of the practitioner is highlighted, click on the name to send them an email.
